Hi,
I have configured an E3 Enterasys switch so that it can send some SNMP trap to a server.
here is my configuration to do it :
set snmp user myuser authentication md5 [md5_hash] privacy [encryption_key] nonvolatile
set snmp group RWgroup user myuser security-model v3 nonvolatile
set snmp access RWgroup security-model v3 authpriv read internet write internet notify internet nonvolatile
set snmp community mycommunity user myuser nonvolatile
set snmp notify entry1 tag TrapSink trap nonvolatile
set snmp targetparams v3paramsTest user myuser security-model v3 privacy nonvolatile
set snmp targetaddr tr param v3ParamTest ipaddress w.x.y.z port 162 timeout 1500 retries 3 taglist TrapSink nonvolatile
As you can see, I use snmp v3. However I am wondering which events are notifies by traps ? How can we configure them ?
I did not find information about it yet.
Thank you for taking my request into consideration
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Best Regards,
François
