NAC script to update networkAddress in eDirectory [LDAP]

Has anyone developed a script to execute using the NAC notification engine to update the networkAddress property of a LDAP directory like eDirectory? I just finished getting my Palo Alto integrated with NAC and it is really slick. Now I want to try and integrate other services like my BlueCoat ProxySG. I believe it should be as easy as a simple script that uses ldapmodify and writes to the directory. I am ready to dive into it, but of course would prefer to avoid re-inventing the wheel if some brilliant person has already designed and built it.

On a related note, is there any documentation out there for the Fusion module? This seems like another route to take.
